Product Description

The Millermatic 140 Auto-Set™ offers all the benefits of a standard MIG machine, but adds Auto-Set to eliminate the guesswork. Use Auto-Set when you want the speed, convenience and confidence of pre-set controls. Simply set the wire diameter, set the material thickness, and go! The Auto-Set control automatically sets your welder to the proper parameters. It is available when welding mild steel with solid wire and only works with .024" and .030" solid wires and C25 shielding gas (75% Argon, 25% CO2). When not within the Auto-Set profiles, use the manual mode to set the weld parameters you desire. The parameter door chart lists voltage and wire feed speed settings options.
  • Auto-Set™: The right settings automatically - Set the wire diameter, a blue light shows that Auto-Set™ is activated - Dial in the thickness of what you're welding - Start welding with the exact parameters you need!
  • Infinite Voltage Control with Manual On/Off Wire Feed Speed Tracking provides a broader operating range with finer control by automatically increasing or decreasing wire feed speed when voltage is adjusted (unit shipped with wire feed speed tracking set to "off").
  • Smooth-Start™ patent-pending technology provides a smooth, spatter free start. Its the best-starting machine in the small MIG machine category. No pop gun starts and no spatter to clean up.
  • Durable cast aluminum feed head incorporates dual groove quick-change drive rolls and spring-loaded tension arm with calibrated tension knob all designed to make set up easier and faster.
  • Thermal overload protection shuts down unit and activates over temperature light if airflow is blocked or duty cycle is exceeded. Automatically resets when fault is corrected and unit cools.
  • Millers exclusive "Tip Saver" short circuit protection shuts down output when tip is shorted to the work. Extends contact tip life and protects internal components from damage. Trigger reset permits quick reset at torch rather than unit.
  • Self-resetting motor protection circuit eliminates the need to find and replace fuses.
  • Easy access to output studs provides convenient polarity changeover when changing from solid or flux cored wires.
  • Semiautomatic constant voltage wire welding package is capable of welding 24 gauge - 3/16" mild steel.
  • Standard built-in solid-state contactor makes wire electrically "cold" until trigger is pulled. Makes unit safer and easier to position torch to work before starting weld.
  • Uses 4" or 8" spools and can be set up to weld with wire sizes .024" - .030" mild/stainless steel and .030" - .035" flux cored.
    Application:
  • Light Metal Fabrication
  • Maintenance and Repair Farm and Ranch Construction Stand Alone Generator
  • Auto Body
  • Farm/Home

  3. Which has been improperly assembled and/or installed
  4. Requiring parts needed for normal maintenance, such as rubber pads, soap-buckets, brushes, plastic inserts, etc.

Freight/Shipping

Tools USA uses common carriers, FedEx Ground, UPS, and independent freight haulers for shipping. We negotiate the most competitive freight rates possible and pass these savings along to our customers. We make every effort to minimize freight charges to our customers and provide for timely delivery.

Most items in stock will ship within two business days. Tools USA will not be liable for any damages related to unavailability of inventory or delays in shipping.

Tools USA ships all products FOB our warehouses. Title for goods passes to customer when product leaves our dock.

Items advertised with "Free Freight" applies only to shipments within the 48 contiguous states (excludes Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada and Mexico).

Call Sales at 1-800-336-2776 for a specific freight quote.

Delivery and Unloading

Customer is responsible for unloading shipment from truck. Tools USA will assume no responsibility for any additional charges or damages that may be incurred as a result of unloading from the delivering carrier's truck.

Freight carriers have restrictions on delivering to residential addresses and may require pick-up at freight terminal. Lifts will require a fork-lift to unload. It is advantageous in those cases to ship to a freight terminal where the terminal personnel will unload the product and load it onto the customer's trailer or truck. Lifts cannot be unloaded using a lift gate vehicle. We cannot advise customers of exact time of delivery as we do not ship on our own trucks. We will give our customers an estimated time of delivery and provide them with tracking information.

All shipments must be inspected immediately upon receipt.

For your protection, any external damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery in order to qualify for a claim against the freight carrier. Concealed damages must be reported to the freight company within three days of delivery. It is the customer's responsibility to file for damage claims against the freight company. Shortages/missing parts must be reported to Tools USA customer service within seven days of delivery.

For Paint Booths only, Customers have 30 days to report shortages/missing parts.
